Product description

Compact and woody, Salvia lavandulifolia is a deciduous perennial shrub that brings a definite wild, windswept feel to a garden, while also ensuring an inspirational floral display each summer. Commonly known as Spanish Sage, it’s also called Lavender Sage due to the colour of its blossoms, which grow in sparse whorls along its upright racemes. Its foliage is a cool, grey-green shade comprising narrow, lance-shaped leaves that become aromatic when rubbed vigorously. Popular for groundcover, as well as beds and borders, Spanish Sage thrives in well-drained soil in full sun, but should be sheltered from the frost and wet weather. A hardy plant, pruning after flowering is recommended.
