This description is for Pulmonaria: The low growing rosettes of foliage that the Pulmonaria genus typically features makes them one of the most loved garden plants for woodland themes, borders and underplanting. Its most distinctive feature, however, is the array of silvery, circular spots on its foliage. It’s an early bloomer, displaying small, bell-shaped flowers that can vary in colour from blue to red and white to violet, with some varieties sporting all of the above. It’s best to plant it in moist but well-drained soil, and the Lungwort is happiest in shaded areas.
