Product description

This description is for Geranium x magnificum: Geranium x magnificum, often called purple cranesbill, is a bushy growing herbaceous perennial that can reach around 3ft in height. In early summer, it develops a huge amount of bright violet coloured flowers, though these last only a few weeks before fading. Purple cranesbill is best planted in full sun or partial shade and provided with moderately fertile soil that’s well draining. It’s prone to flopping because of its height, so staking early in the season is best. G. x magnificum is ideal for herbaceous borders and cottage gardens where it can be allowed to grow naturally.
