Product description

This description is for Gaillardia aristata: Gaillardia aristata is also called common gaillardia. Its a native wildflower from North and Western America. It grows to around two foot tall and has lance shaped leaves that grow around the base of the plant. From this grow stems topped with attractive daisy-like flowers. The centre of the flower is a button of red or brown, the long thin petals fan out from the centre, darker red near the centre, fading through orange or pink to yellow at the edges. They have been used by Plateau Indians to treat wounds and fevers.
