Product description

Echinacea purpurea is also known as purple coneflower. Its called a coneflower because the flowers are cone-shaped. They are daisy-shaped, with a central dark button and bright pink petals that slope backward giving it the cone shape. They large flowers, usually around 12cm across. It has elongated oval leaves that are covered in coarse hairs. It will grow up to about a metre and a half in height. It will grow in any type of soil and is best planted in a sunny spot although it will still grow in some shade. Its an easy plant to look after, youll only need to remove the dead flower heads, which will encourage further blooms to grow, and you shouldnt have any problems with pests or disease.
