Product description

This description is for Cornus alba: Cornus alba, commonly called Siberian dogwood, is a deciduous shrub with vigorous growth and fantastic winter colour. It has large dark green leaves throughout the year. However, it is in the winter that it becomes a garden show stopper, with its stems turning to vibrant red. Siberian dogwood flowers in the spring and early summer, developing clusters of small white flowers, which turn into pale berries later in the season. During the winter, crimson stems provide interesting garden appeal. Though C. alba will grow in most locations, a moist patch in full sun will provide the most vivid winter colour.
