Yellow Ice Plant

Delosperma nubigenum | Rating: 0 votes | Print / Pdf

Yellow Ice Plant, reminiscent of what happens when you let Rover out to do his business on a snowy day.

Despite its name, the Yellow Ice Plant does require a little bit of TLC as it doesn’t like the cold one little bit. This makes it well suited to indoor or conservatory cultivation, and then being moved outside when the mercury rises. Delosperma nubigenum flowers with a multitude of golden yellow flowers during the summer, and its green foliage becomes flushed red in the autumn. It’s a low, trailing plant. An easy plant to grow for the novice, and apart from protection from the cold, requires little on-going care.
