Tickseed

Coreopsis rosea | Rating: 0 votes | Print / Pdf

A whole host of wildlife will come into your garden to investigate Coreopsis rosea's blooms. Same happened with my mother's bloomers.

Coreopsis rosea is, unsurprisingly, a variety of Tickseed that sports flowers of a light or mid-pink shade. These bloom from spring through to the autumn and can be planted in virtually any position in the garden that gets at least some sun throughout the day. One of the best things about the plant, apart from it’s delicate beauty, is that it attracts a whole host of wildlife into the garden to investigate its blooms. It’s also very low maintenance and easy to grow, making it a great choice for the novice or time short gardener.
