It has dark green and glossy oval leaves, if you look closely you will see that they have a serrated edge. It has small greenish white flowers, in the autumn the seed coverings are pink in colour from which hang orange coloured fruit. It's popularly used in parks and gardens as it will grow almost anywhere regardless of light levels or soil type. It's good for hedging and for topiary too.
