Astilbe x crispa 'Perkeo' or Astilbe 'Perkeo' has shiny bronze tinted feathery leaves and red stems which bear delicate slim plumes of deep pink flowers. This isn't one of the showy astilibes, instead it has a more natural wild-flower look to it. Perfect for a woodland or cottage garden, It also works well as a potted plant on the patio. It will appreciate poorly-drained soil as it loves plenty of moisture. Plant is sun or partial shade and you should get lots of blooms.
