Founded by English gardener John Tebbs, The Garden Edit redraws the traditional boundaries associated with shopping and the garden by bringing together a modern collection of products that embody functionality, timelessness and beauty.
What an amazing gardening-video, published by "Nowness, for the culturally curious"... Enjoy.
The Zurich Succulent Plant Collection is one of the most impressive of its kind, covering more than 4750sqm and displaying over 6500 plants. We visited the collection and brought our good old 35mm camera.

Gardening can be expensive, and if you're growing your own vegetables in order to save a bit of money, keeping costs down will be a primary concern. When you need a lot of seed trays the price can mount up, but there is an alternative and it's free; you can simply use the cardboard inner tube from your toilet rolls. It's the ultimate in recycling!
Hold your roll upright and get your scissor. Cut downwards about 2cm. Cut about six of these slits equally spaced around the roll. Push each of the strips inwards. They'll overlap and form the base of your seed container. Turn it the other way up and hey presto, you've got a free seed container. It's totally eco-friendly as you can simply plant out your tubes and they will bio-degrade, so you don't have to disturb the roots. Brilliant!
