As Aristotle said, the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. This is very true with a garden, we see the whole view, we're created a scene to take in all at once, but sometimes it's nice to focus on just one plant and appreciate it for itself. Axel Hoedt does just this with his impressive photography. Each plant is depicted in great detail, on its own without other distractions, giving emphasis to the beauty of each specimen.

One thing that we particularly like is that he gives the same treatment to all the plants he photographs, whether it's an expensive showy prize-winning rare variety, or a common garden weed. Here is more.
