Dandelions in your lawn can be a nightmare. They're very hard to get rid of and they spread like crazy.

Why not call off your war against dandelions and call a truce. Instead of trying to destroy them... eat them! The lush bright green leaves are edible and tasty with a bitter flavour; perfect for salads. They're full of vitamins and minerals so they're also very good for you. If you're not keen on the bitter flavour, you can blanch them which will make them less bitter and serve them up as a vegetable with your evening meal. Why spend a fortune on greens at the supermarket when you can pick them from your lawn for free! Dandelion roots can also be ground to make a healthy coffee substitute, and even the flowers can be used as a vibrant colourful garnish. Are you loving your dandelions a little more now?
