They love boggy ground that other flowering plants just can't tolerate, but not only that, they look amazing too; both the flowers and the foliage look gorgeous. The leaves are delicate and fern like, and the vibrant plumes of feathery flowers add colour and interest. From white to pink and red, there's a good range of colours to choose from. It really is the perfect plant for that bothersome damp area of the garden that's always been a pain to find something to grow in. Some species also have a lovely aroma. What more could you want?
