Come in from the cold to my Christmas home. Hope you like the festive wreath on the door that I made from the pine tree branches. Let me serve you some homemade ginger ale – the ginger is homegrown!
Christmas trees are sold in pots, plant them out in the garden later and in a few years you will be growing a Christmas hedge!
Let’s sit around the tree to open our presents. I got a living picture. What did you get? Oh, a Christmas cactus, lovely!
Now, do come through for the Christmas dinner. These brussel sprouts and parsnips were home-grown. I’ve also added a bit of a kick with herbs and hot pepper that I grew on the windowsill.
Say, did you know that pepper is an aphrodisiac…? And look, we just happen to be standing under some mistletoe….
Merry Christmas.
